EBARA
My name is Paolo Gasparrotto, I am one of the export area manager of Ebara Pumps Europe spa a company, part of a Japanese corporation which is a global leader in the production of hidraulic pumps.
I am writing this letter to thank you for the great opportunity that you and your staff from the Israel Italy Chamber of Commerce gave to the Italian entrepeneurs during our business mission to Israel.
In particular I am referring to a very well organised structure that gave me the possibility to feel confortable during my stay in Tel Aviv.
The organization work and the cordiality of your staff made possible for me to enjoy my stay and the event whose every single moment was coordinated in a proper and punctual way.
During the B2B session, what impressed me was the number of potential clients interested in our products so that 14 meetings were held instead of the 9 which had been scheduled at the beginning. This was possible because your staff worked for addressing new contacts to me.
In such a framework I met Mr Itzhac Albeg from Madan Trading. Mr Albeg is the general manager of an important representation bureau for industrial equipment in Kibbutz Ma’agan Michel, Israel. They had contacted us one week before the meeting for presenting their company and during our short meeting in the morning we reached a first commercial accord draft. After I got back to Italy we started planning another meeting that took place on the 15- 16th of December at our plant in Vicenza.
Without giving too much details, at the end of such meeting we signed an accord establishing that the company Madan Trading would represent Ebara Pumps Europe spa in Israel for a first amount of 250.000 euro and a target of 600.000- 650.000 at the end of 2009.
We have already set that I would come to Israel at least two time per year and attend the most important Israeli fairs in our activity field.
I thought it was fair to thank you for helping us in arrange this meeting. In fact, even if it would have took place, your support has been crucial to develop this process in a more professional way.
Last but not least, thanks a lot for paying attention to such a long letter.
Hoping to meet you during my next visit to Israel I wish I could thank you face to face also on behalf of my staff and of Ebara Pumps Europe spa.
Best Regards,
Gasparrotto
